The 3% Stamp Duty surcharge is an additional charge on top of existing Stamp Duty rates. Under current law, the extra tax applies to anyone who is buying additional residential properties within England, Wales and Northern Ireland. For landlords or those purchasing an apartment at The Stage that is not their only property, Galliard Homes will offset this cost for you, with the amount being deducted from the final completion price.
