Changing the Face of Construction
Women into Construction is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that promotes gender equality in construction. They provide bespoke support to women wishing to work in the construction industry and assist contractors to recruit highly motivated and trained women, helping to reduce the skills gap and create a more gender-equal work force.
A Solid Foundation for Partnership
In becoming a corporate member of WIC, Galliard Homes will support the aims of the organisation and hopes to offer a variety of placement, internship and training opportunities to women seeking new opportunities in our sector. We will also work with WIC to source experienced, professional hires and raise the awareness in schools and colleges about employment options that are available. Our current employee base is made up of 35% women and we recognise the benefits to be gained from employing a diverse workforce and strive to promote equal access to all.
