Local Procurement

Local procurement plays an important role in Galliard Homes’ Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

Wherever possible, we work with local suppliers, contractors, and businesses to ensure our developments deliver real economic and social benefits to the communities in which we build.

By prioritising local sourcing, we support local employment, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen regional supply chains. The Stage, EC2

The Stage, EC2 is a powerful example of Galliard Homes’ commitment to heritage, culture, and community. 

The development carefully preserves the historic remains of Shakespeare’s Curtain Theatre, celebrating Shoreditch’s rich cultural past. Alongside this, the Shoreditch Art Wall provides a dynamic public canvas for collaborations between local artists and Hackney-based charities, supporting contemporary creativity and social causes. Together, these elements create a development that honours both the history and the evolving cultural identity of Shoreditch.

Grenfell Community Rebuild

The Grenfell Community Rebuild reflects Galliard Homes’ commitment to social impact, resilience, and meaningful community support.

Initiated following an approach from the BBC, the project involved the charitable rebuild of the Dale Youth Gym and the local community centre, both tragically destroyed in the Grenfell Tower fire. Delivered in partnership with BBC’s DIY SOS, Galliard and its sub-contractors completed what would normally be a 12-month programme in just 12 weeks, helping to create a lasting legacy of opportunity and support for young people and families in the area.
