The grand opening of the five star Great Scotland Yard Hotel under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, their first of this collection in the UK.  The building is Galliard Constructions’ most prestigious hotel development to date.

Galliard was appointed principal contractor for the project which was filmed by the BBC, and were delighted to be involved in this charitable project in partnership with our sub-contractors and suppliers to provide a Community Centre and a boxing gym close to the Grenfell Tower site. We all gave our time voluntarily and completed a 12 month job in 12 weeks. It was our honour to receive HRH, The Duke of Cambridge on site, who eagerly tried his hand at some painting for us.

Galliard, in joint venture with Apsley House Capital, acquired five sites which by 2020 comprises almost 2,000 apartments and circa 11,000 sq. m of commercial space, 80% of which, as of Q3 2020, is either under construction, has planning permission or is let to the Secretary of State.

Galliard obtained planning permission for a new 20,000 seat football stadium (home to Wimbledon FC) 1,000 sq. m of retail space, a fitness club and 602 residential units. In March 2018 Galliard entered into a JV with Catalyst Housing association as contractor and lead sales partner.

Construction begins on Baltimore Tower; 380 apartments with a GDV of £285 million.

Galliard sell 50 units at circa £12 million GDV in three days in another successful permitted development venture - Papermill House, Romford.
